Merge 104.8 Scoops Top Gulf Marketing Awards

On the eve of launching the freshest radio station to take to Oman’s airwaves, Merge 104.8 has already gained recognition for its unique image at the recent Dubai Lynx Awards 2011.  Merge 104.8 is set to be launched on June 7th 2011.

 

The new radio station, Merge 104.8 bagged two Silver awards at the coveted advertising Lynx Awards 2011, for its unique corporate identity and relevant to its image, stationary design.  Judged by some of the world’s top ranking creative brains, the awards were picked up by SABCO Media, the group behind the station’s launch, and its branding agency, Memac Ogilvy & Mather.

 

A part of the annual Dubai International Advertising Festival, the Lynx Awards rewards excellence in advertising and design, both locally and on a global level.

 

Merge 104.8, planned to go live on June 7th 2011, and is targeting the socially active, multi-cultural community of Oman with its fun mix music, talk and entertainment.

Merge 104.8’s philosophy reflects the diverse cultures and tastes of Oman’s young population.  Inspired by the richness of Omani society, the station will launch with a mix of local and international RJ’s, which will appeal to both traditional and contemporary cultures.
