One hundred Iranian companies are showcasing their goods from diverse product segments at the largest solo exhibition in the Sultanate.
The Iran Solo Exhibition at the International Exhibition Centre was inaugurated on 6th Jan 2015 by HE Dr Ali Bin Masoud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Eng. Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce.
The five-day exhibition showcases goods ranging from hand-made and machine-made products, home appliances, interior decor items, food products, petrochemical goods, power and industry-related equipment and construction materials to name a few.
More than 20 ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps, three ministers, top government officials, and Sabco Group executives were part of the VIP entourage.
The key highlights of the expo include the carpet pavilions and four models of sedans made in Iran.
While the machine-made carpets of polyester and artificial silk cost between 50 and 500 rials depending on their size, the hand-crafted pieces of wool and natural silk cost between 200 and 100,000 rials.
